Spear Guard

Spear Guard is status effect unique to Spear weapons. It may only block mechanical damage from melee attacks.

It is granted by successfully hitting a target with a spear attack or skill. The amount blocked is dependant of the quality of the spear, and does not scale off Melee skill.

Fend allows its activation without the need for an attack and grants bonus 150% more blocked damage.

Spear Guardian increases its block chance.

Block chance from different sources does not stack. Each block chance is rolled separately against blockable attacks.
Multiple different blocks can trigger against a single attack, in which case their amount blocked stacks additively.
