Your effective Guns, Crossbows and Melee skill value is brought up to 60% of the effective value of the highest of those skills.

This feat increases effective skill values, not the base values. So it does not help meet feat requirements, but it gives full combat benefits (damage, precision) and allows passing in-world skillchecks.

Specializations

• Versatility (10 levels) — Further increases the percentage of the skill value used by 2% for each specialization point.
