Acid puddles or acid spills are environmental hazards. Walking over or standing on acid puddles without sufficient acid protection deals Acid damage. Damage dealt by the cloud depends on the density of the puddle.
Different types of acid may also cause additional effects, e.g. Corrosive Acid causes corrosion which lowers armor resistances. Acid puddles decay slowly over time.

- Biohazard Boots provide immunity to acid puddles
- Sure Step feat allows one to navigate any acid puddles safely
- Chemical Assault Unit Armor (80% / 35)
- Biohazard Suit (50% / 25)
- Armor crafted with Mutated Dog Leather, protection depends on quality
- Boots and Tabi Boots made from Infused Mutated Dog Leather provide immunity to acid puddles
- Any Metal Armor provides +5 acid threshold
