Bionic Institute

Not much is known about Bionic Institute. What is known is that it is or was part of the T6 Group alongside Biocorp and New Frontier Technologies and that they strove toward bionics and human-machine interfacing. Machines they developed were intelligent and sentient, with the capacity to think, feel and even love. Bionic Institute considered them members of the society and treated robots almost as equally as their creators. Their ultimate goal was to merge humans with machines. According to Ezra, artificial intelligence they developed were the most advanced among other supercorporations.

Unknown time before the Descent, Bionic Institute has cooperated with Biocorp in research performed in The Compound, providing them with various equipment, likely related to the brain-machine interface used in combat exoskeletons.
