Luring Zaman with sound bugs the cutscene

Seems that if you lure Zaman with sound and then trigger the cutscene, if he is in the room adjacent it bugs and he stays neutral.
You can open the door and Chop Chop and zaman remain neutral until you walk up and talk to Zaman.
