Once you've managed to get either SGS or Protectorate to help, the final step before the gang clash starts is to plant the explosives under Old Junkyard gate.
NOTE: If you kill Blaine or reveal the wormhole to scrappers, you cannot do the last quests for Black Eels!
Objectives
- Take the explosive charges from Colton and place them on the ceiling of the cavern below the Old Junkyard gate; you can access this cavern through the ventilation ducts of the lower level of Old Junkyard
Walkthrough
Get the Mining Explosive from Colton. Head to lower Old Junkyard via the wormhole tunnel and enter ventilation shafts as soon as you hit Depot A. Crawl around to the southeast until you find an exit grid. This area is the old ventilation cut-off point, which Blaine mentioned earlier. Here, Depot B's ventilation is cut off from Depot A's ventilation, in fear of airborne mutagens. You can plant the explosive anywhere in the cave and it'll do its job.
Once done, prepare for the upcoming major battle and head back to Silas.
