Second job for Tchortists' preservation section. You are to find Efreitor Mateo and his squad.
Objectives
- Mediant Samuel wants you to find a Preservation combat unit that was dispatched to the west wing around five days ago but never returned or contacted back. Find them or what is left of them and report back.
- (optional) Kill Efreitor Mateo and bring his head to Mediant Samuel.
Walkthrough
Head to Institute of Tchort west wing and make your way to the northeast area.
There you will find Efreitor Mateo along with the source of the electromagnetic emissions his squad was supposed to investigate - a Monolith.
Once you've dealt with Efreitor Mateo, head back to Mediant Samuel. If you did not kill Mateo after talking to him and return to Samuel, he will order you to kill Mateo and bring his head back as proof. Killing him will reward you with extra 150 charons and 500 classic XP. If you killed him without learning first the fate of his unit, you will not receive the bonus reward.
