Rage is a mind control effect which does not provide temporary immunity, meaning rage effects could stunlock the player character or non-player characters. However, rage-inducing mind control is very rarely encountered.
Raging characters are unable to control their actions, meaning they cannot act normally during their turns while the effect is active, but can dodge/evade attacks normally. Raging non-player characters usually start attacking the closest target they see.
