HE Grenades are throwing weapons that deal area of effect damage. Their damage does not increase with throwing skill, only accuracy does. Evasion decreases damage from all AoE attacks, including grenades.
They deal approximately 62 (Mk.1), 110 (Mk.2), 157 (Mk.3), 205 (Mk.4) or 252 (Mk.5) average damage against unarmored targets near the center of explosion. HE grenades work well against targets with high damage thresholds, such as robots and other heavily armored enemies. HE grenades ignore 40% of damage resistance and threshold.
The Impact Speed of grenade explosions is high. HE grenades share their cooldown with other types of standard grenades and have a radius of 3 squares.
