If your using the AR exckusively for "free" Commando bursts, then the Concentrated Fire feat, nevermind the specialization, is dubious.

So Concentrated Fire increases damage dealt to targets per stack. Targets gain stacks every time they've been hit by an AR bullet from a burst. The problem is, you have to hit them to stack up the effect... While most opponents will melt to a high quality (150+) AR firing armor piercing anyways, assuming 15+ PER, ~30% crit (goggles, focus stim) and green scope.

This can be useful if shooting Dominating bosses with repeated AR bursts, but outside of that edge case very few other opponents can eat a whole AR burst and live.

I would recommend prioritizing your Full Auto specialization, as its your primary, unconditional DPS tool. If you switch to a pure AR build, then concentrated fire may prove extremely potent, but you've not dumped DEX...

Can you craft a good tincan with under 25% armor penalty? Because I'm not sure even with sloping specialization you can put a single extra reinforcement plate on it, and if so then the nimble body weight training route is a bit questionable, as is having 10 STR.

And as anyone who has been killed by Death Stalkers a thousand friggin times can tell you, Perception isn't a bad place for a few points, either.
Not sure a few points in PER matters, at least on DOMINATING. My 15 PER dominating build (will hit 17 level 26) with almost 400 detection tried exploring the caves across the river from Hathor... And promptly got ganked. I had to put on q150 motion detection goggles to even see the crawlers, and it wasn't reliable.

I think relying on torch spam and traps may be more consistent than 2-3 points into perception, if even a 15 perception score doesn't feel like its enough (without specialized goggles, at least).

Is there anywhere in the game you can get a particularly high-quality Psi-Beetle Carapace? I've dropped about a dozen from Azuridae Goliaths but they're all in the quality range 80-100, I was hoping to get a higher quality one but it seems if it's possible they don't drop from Goliaths.
If you're willing to eat the higher armor penalty, I think Psi Crab Carapaces have slightly higher quality range than beetle.

Pistols don't have skill requirements, so anyone that has enough Dex can take Gunslinger to get a significant initiative boost. You can also use them to execute opponents you've CC'd with other stuff, so you can conserve Psi or grenades or whatnot.

Hey,

You can find the 400 shifters on Aegis jets. Which you can steal if you have a high stealth char.

I also didn't find the BArmHauler600 yet.

And there is no 1500 battery as far as i know. I looked in the files and the best battery i found is the solar 1250 battery.

That is all I know.

I've Mercantile'd Ray, but still having problems finding top end parts like BArm Shifter 400, BioIn L1500, BArm Hauler 600.

Do I need to FRIENDSHIP the Black Eels or the Pirates to get access to such gear?

EDIT: Found a the Shifter 400 on a purchased boat. Interesting...

Wondering if I can go and do some main map stuff and grind for top end components; I already have all the BPs I need and some Hypercerebrix to push my crafting stats over the edge; I'm the part where the Professor gets kidnapped, not sure if I want to negotiate, infiltrate, or exterminate.

So, how does Expedition track time? Will there be consequences if I go off and do other quests?

On a more serious note, you could probably nerf pure psi by increasing the psi cost of Temporal abilities, hybrid builds wouldn't care much, pure psi builds would.
Temporal Contraction is already one of the most expensive abilities, and precognition isn't cheap either. Psi builds have many ways to reduce costs, so its not a big deal for them.

Nitpick - Cryogas grenades do cold damage.

(Yes, its not remotely equal to Cryo orb, lol)

I hope Styg eventually nerfs pure psi rather than all the weaker builds getting smaller benefits from temporal manipulation.
Yes, I feel Temporal+ other stuff builds aren't OP, but Temporal+Full Mage gets disgusting.

More small pellets = better damage vs non-armored targets. Also somewhat better vs evasive targets.

A few giant pellets = better for punching through armor

20 pellet obliterates squishies.

3 pellet is needed vs heavy armor

You can pick 6/12 for in-between targets.
