The circular waterway near the Core City is popularly called Core Ring. Protectorate likes to set up its outposts there.

Core Ring Protectorate Outpost is a location in the waterways of Lower Caves.
Description
Two Protectorate outposts situated along the Core Ring. Situated so that all traffic passing between Core City and the south flows through them.
The Leave No Witnesses Zone Control rule is active in these outposts.
Waterways 14
- The west exit leads to Core Ring, area Waterways 15
- The east exit leads to Rig Periphery, area Waterways 12
- The south exit leads to Core Ring, area Waterways 11
- Has a Protectorate Sniper, Protectorate Heavy Gunner, Protectorate Marine and an Auto-Turret guarding the land
Waterways 28
- The north exit leads to Core Ring, area Waterways 27
- The south exit leads to Rig Periphery, area Waterways 30
- The west exit leads to Core Ring, area Waterways 13
- The east exit leads to Core Ring, area Waterways 29
