Lost Vault is a location in Upper Caves.
Description
Vault Odis, also known as Lost Vault is a location in the caverns beneath Lower Underrail. To find it, use a TNT Charge to blow up the rocks blocking the passage north from Milton's camp, head north and then east. It is on the shore of one of the many underground rivers of Underrail, north from some Lurker Smugglers using the same river. Alternatively, player can enter the caves near the Hecate Research Outpost, then keep going south until you see a river and then turn east.
Outside the vault you will meet, or likely bump into, stealthed Lost Vault Bodyguard. Telling him you're there for business allows you to pass and trade with Lost Vault Trader.
The vault itself can be entered by hacking the vault's electronic lock (70 effective skill required) or using Security Key Card (Lost Vault) on it, found in the desk inside the building outside the vault. The shack's door are open, however trying to get inside will cause trader and his bodyguard to become hostile.
Near the vault's door is a pig pen - opening it(it's not locked) will cause Jittery Pig to run away and make trader and bodyguard chase it, allowing player to enter the shack and steal the keycard. Trader will become temporarily occupied and to trade with him again, player will need to leave and enter the zone again. There is also a hidden ventilation shaft (requires 9 Perception) that leads into the building with the keycard.
Lost Vault Trader carries Trader's key (Caves) (can be pickpocketed with 83 effective skill). It can also be used to unlock the footlocker in the shack. It contains a random Luxury Item.
Interior
The flooded part of the vault can be divided roughly into four parts: Centre, South, West and North. Player will enter from southeast corner and can access central and nothern area without any problems but the southern and western zones require passing a skill check.
Centre
- There is a floating box in the water containing a Plasma Cell and an unique energy pistol - Phase Gun
- There are three flooded shelves that can be looted with 9 Dexterity. They contain some electronic items
- There is a hidden first-aid box that contains some random medicine (requires 7 Perception)
- One of the shelves to the west has Rapid Reloader
- Way to the western area is blocked by a crate that requies 11 Strength to push away
- Another crate blocks the way to some shelves, also requires 11 Strength
- Way to the southern area requires 11 Agility
South
- Accessible with 11 Agility
- Southern room has a locker containing good quality Regenerative Vest and a desk with a vial of Aegis
- Southern room also has a locked locker containing high quality Sturdy Vest (requires 90 Lockpicking)
- Western room has some shelves containing high quality Aluminized Cloth, Black Cloth and Stable Neural Amplifier
- Western room also has a box containing some Plasma Cores
- There is a hidden sack in the western room that contains some batteries (requires 9 Perception)
West
- Accessible with 11 Strength
- Both rooms have some toxic barrels containing Toxic Sludge
- Southern room has shelves containing high quality Tungsten Steel Plates and Kevlar Cloth
- Northern room has shelves containing high quality Ceramic Plate and Pneumatic Hammer

- There are four flooded shelves in the north-western corner that can be looted with 8-10 Dexterity. They contain some high quality energy shield emitter and psi headband components
- Western room has a computer rack that contains a Strange Comm Device oddity, 1 XP
- There is also a hidden footlocker that contains good quality Circular Wave Amplifier (requires 7 Perception)
- Eastern room has seven weapon lockers. Some are opened while other require 75-90 Lockpicking
- There is a box that contains Psionic Mentor: Telekinetic Grounding
- Second box can be opened with 80 Hacking. It contains four Frag Grenades Mk IV and two EMP Grenades Mk III
