Battery Recycling Plant is a location in Lower Caves.

Description

It is a long-abandoned recycling facility. It is located in east Lower Caves, between South Gate Station and Camp Hathor. To find it, head directly east from SGS cave tunnel exit, to the tunnels blocked by the earthquake.

You can enter the facility via a flimsy ventilation shaft. Much of the facility is in ruins and blocked by rubble, but a remote-controlled utility bot still functions. One of the lockers or desks has an Utility Bot Remote Control which allows the bot to be controlled to explore the facility and manipulate unreachable objects. Optoelectric nuclear battery blueprint can be found inside the battery recycling plant.

  • The ventilation shaft can be opened with an Omni-Tool and leads to a room with 3 desks
  • The southern desk contains an Utility Bot Remote Control
  • The Utility Bot Remote Control can be used to operate the Power Boxes which enable/disable the electrical tiles. In order to reach the generator and solve the puzzle, here is the sequence to follow:
    • Of the two boxes initially available, operate the southern one
    • Then operate the box in room in the SE corner
    • Then operate the box in the room that has a desk with a computer screen
    • Then operate the box close to the power generator that has a hazard warning sign above it
    • Then again the box in the room with the computer screen
    • Then the box near the room that has a window and a lot of crates
    • Then again the box in the room in the SE corner
    • Then the box on the other side of the silos (the only box that you didn't operate yet)
    • And finally the box in the room with the computer screen for the 3rd time
    • Now the path is open to deactivate the generator. This will remove all remaining electric tiles and will unlock the door at the entrance. Your character is now free to explore and loot the complex
  • The desk with the computer screen has an Optoelectric Nuclear Battery Blueprint, a quest item for the quest Battery trouble
  • The locker in the generator room requires 55 Lockpicking

Enemies

Quests
