Sergeant First Class Timothy Holloway is a renegade Protectorate officer who together with his men have barricaded themselves in the abandoned Dolos Center. He is armed with a pistol.

Holloway is a "boss" character, and on DOMINATING difficulty will appear with 400% of his regular health.

Background

SFC Holloway had served the Protectorate for many years, earning the respect of many with his dedication, bravery, and until now perfect track record. Recently, however, he began to develop doubts about the morality of their actions, ignited by an increasingly large number of eliminated targets that later turned out to be innocent civilians. His superiors proved themselves to be apathetic to his concerns, as they cared not about the death of simple "ratters".

Holloway made several attempts to take the matter up with Colonel Cathcart, but the intervention of his superiors successfully sabotaged him at every turn. To ruin his credibility and stop him from finding support, rumors claiming him to have gone insane started to spread, and were seemingly supported by Holloway's worsening desperation. His belief in the Protectorate shaken to the core, Holloway finally snapped. With the soldiers under his command they left Fort Apogee, knowing painfully well their chances of escape were slight, and by military law capital punishment awaited them for their desertion.
