Tappy is a character that can be encountered in the docks of Camp Hathor after player has met the Rathound King. He fights with a spear and carries some high quality leather that can be pickpocketed with 51 effective skill.
Description
Tappy is a hunter from across the river who is trying to fix his severely damaged Junk Jet.
Player Interactions
Player can buy his junk Jet Ski for 600 charons. With 30 effective Mercantile, this price can be lowered to 500 charons and with 45 Mercantile to 400 charons. Additionally, with 45 effective Mechanics, player can explain to him what is wrong with his jet ski and offer to buy it for 450 charons. If player has both enough Mechanics skill and enough Mercantile for the best discount, jet ski can be bought from Tappy for only 300 coins. However if player annoys him during the conversation, he will become angry and refuse to talk anymore unless you pass Persuasion check (70 effective skill). Alternatively, player can attempt to push him off the ledge to the water (effective 12 Strength or 13 Dexterity required), causing him to drown and allowing to take his jet ski without paying. This will however alert people nearby and cause them to become hostile unless player has enough Persuasion (45 effective skill required).
If player purchases the jet ski, Tappy will offer to them some advice about waterways and leave, disappearing from the game.
