Core Ring is a location in the waterways of Lower Caves. It can be accessed with a Jet Ski.
Description
Long circular waterway. On the north side lies Core City. In the south, two Protectorate Outposts leading into The Rig and rest of the south waterways.

- The east exit leads to Rig Periphery, area Waterways 10
- The north exit leads to Core Ring Protectorate Outpost, area Waterways 14
- The west exits lead to Abandoned Waterway Facility, area East waterway facility. The southern of those exits requires between 264 and 464 speed with your Jet Ski and grants access to a different part of the abandoned facility.

- Making noise (using TNT for instance) will make 5-6 more Coil Spiders appear, including a Greater Coil Spider
- To the north are some Destructible objects
- A Utility Bot is trapped behind those rocks. By freeing it, it will attempt to open the door to the facility in the SW corner (assuming the spiders do not destroy it)
- The facility in the SW corner:
- Is guarded by 2 Auto-Turrets
- Has a medical locker with a Super Health Hypo
- Has a weapons locker requiring 100 Lockpicking
- Has a desk with a Blueprint: Energy Shield Emitter
- Has shelves containing some rare electronic components and a Warehouse Inventory List oddity, 2 XP
- One of the barrels contain some TiChrome Bars
- In the NE corner are 2 respawning Cave Ears mushrooms

- An abandoned Scrap Jet can be looted with 50 Lockpicking. It has an XG Power 3.0 battery
- On the east side it's possible to set foot on the island:
- It has 6 respawning Lake Mushrooms
- Some neutral Cave Hoppers inhabit the island
- It holds the entrance to Old Ib's Homestead

- Potential location of the Drag 'n' Drop club. Terry requests an entrance fee of 30 Charons, but you can enter for free if you're the Invictus. The door can also be opened with 100 Lockpicking, but it will likely aggro Terry and the people inside.
