The West Wing is a location in Institute of Tchort.

Description

The west wing is a ruined section of Institute of Tchort that has been abandoned and sealed for decades.

Entrance

• The eastern exit leads to Eidein's library
• The western exit leads to area Central area 1
• Guarded by Tchortist Rassophore and Tchortist Pirophore

Central area 1

• The NE exit leads to area Northeast area
• The NW exit leads to area Central area 2
• The locker on the west side requires 80 Lockpicking
• Southern storage room:
  • Can be accessed only via South area
  • Inhabited by few Coil Spiders
  • There is a hidden vent that can be detected with 7 effective Perception

Central area 2

• The southern exit leads to area Central area 1
• The northern exit leads to area West area
• The northern exit leads to area South area
• Has a vase containing a Biocorp University Emblem oddity, 1 XP
• Pavel's body for the Find Rassophore Pavel quest can be found in the south:
  • Tchortist Rassophore Armor and Ruined Textbook oddity, 1 XP can be found on his body
  • There is a Death Stalker near his corpse

Northeast area

• Has several roaming Burrowers
• The eastern area also has some Coil Spiders
• Barely visible door in the burrower infested area in the west leads to a small storage room:
  • Has a shelf with Ruined Textbook oddity, 1 XP and Blueprint: Super Health Hypo
• A file cabinet next to computers in the central room contains a Ruined Textbook oddity, 1 XP
• The web area:
  • Has some Coil Spiders
  • Has a barrel containing a Biocorp University Emblem oddity, 1 XP
• Is trapped with several Bear Traps, HE Mine Mk II, EMP Mine Mk II, Burrower Poison Bear Trap and Acid Blob Trap Mk II and Frag Mine Mk II which can be recovered with 94 (possibly less) Traps skill
• To the northwest is Efreitor Mateo for the quest Find missing combat unit in west wing, protected by several stealthy Death Stalkers and contemplating a monolith. He carries:
  • The unique Needler crossbow
  • The 'unique' Tchortist Rassophore Armor
  • His head, Efreitor Mateo's Head, a unique item used to prove his death in the afore-mentioned quest.
• The monolith will grant a vision if your will is 10 or above

South area
