Silas is the dockmaster of Junkyard. Leader of Black Eels.
Background
Silas is the dockmaster of Junkyard, and leader of the Black Eels gang in Junkyard. He and his Black Eels control all the naval trade in and out of Junkyard. He has ambitions to drive their rival gang, Scrappers, out of Junkyard and he may succeed in it, depending on the player's actions.
Player interactions
Silas can provide you with information on "the wormhole", an alternative route to Depot A. You can either work for this information or buy it. After working for the wormhole info, it turns out Silas needs an outsider for more than just some small-time work.
The base asking price for the entrance to the wormhole is 1500 Charons, 1200 with 40 effective Mercantile skill and 1000 with 80 effective skill.

Silas has plenty of work for the player.
- Collect Grover's debt: Silas wants you to do some dirty debt collector work.
- Retrieve the lost cargo: A trip to Silent Isle to find some lost cargo.
- Find Blaine: You need to find an ex-scrapper who might know a weakness in scrappers' ranks.
- Get support for Black Eels: Preparations for an upcoming fight against the scrappers.
- Gang showdown: Full-blown gang war for the control of Junkyard.
