Blistering Shores Research Facility is a location in the Black Sea.
Description
Blistering Shores Research Facility is located at coordinates L12 and can be accessed either through Blistering Shores or Sørmirbæren Geyser Village.
The facility is infested with all types of crabs (Giant Crabs, Colossal Crabs, Psi Crabs and Hermit Crabs), hiding in the patches of black sand. Once you turn on the generator, the crabs will come out of the hiding and start to roam the area.
Submarine required to descend to Abyssal Station Zero can be found here. To lower it into the water, player needs to turn on the power substation unit in the NW corner of the map and use the computer console to open the dock gate and lower the submarine. The computer console can also be used to activate the Strongmen, hostile to crabs or natives as well as the player.
If player did not wipe the Sørmirbæren Village nearby, after turning on the generator, a group of natives will come to ambush you.
